Bill Glazer – From Protege to Marketing Superstar
If you're in the "know" about internet marketing, I'm sure you've heard about Bill Glazer, one of the true copy writing geniuses. With the imminent launch of Game Changer DNA, Bill's involvement in the product has people talking. But what do you actually know about Bill Glazer?
How did he get started?
Bill started off like many of us do - getting an education. In 1974, he graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park. Almost immediately, he decided to take over the family business, which consisted of two menswear stores in Baltimore, MD. He was an incredibly hard worker and ran the family business successfully for 25 years. But then, in 1995, it all changed.
A friend of his convinced him to come to Pennsylvania and attend a success seminar, which featured speakers from across the entire gamut of business. However, it was the final speaker of the day, a gentleman by the name of Dan Kennedy, that changed everything for Bill.
After hearing Dan Kennedy speak about magnetic influence, Bill was inspired - so much so that he bought Dan Kennedy's magnetic marketing books and pored through them on the train ride home. Something in his brain "clicked" after that fateful speech.
Upon returning home, Bill began to apply what he had read to his menswear stores. His results were phenomenal - he grew 2 successful family run businesses and turned them into one of the top 10 recognized men's apparel stores in the entire United States and enjoyed success beyond what he ever thought possible. But the story isn't over yet.
In 1997, Bill heard that Dan was coming to Baltimore. He instantly saw an opportunity and seized it, inviting Dan to lunch (he at least wanted to express his thanks to Dan for all that he had learned from him.)

What specifically made Bill Glazer famous?
Bill Glazer is incredibly well known for his copy writing, but he can best be attributed with the term "Outrageous Advertising." What are some of Bill Glazer's products?
Though Bill has since gone on to do countless things with his business partner, Dan Kennedy, he has written some books of his own. A few of his more notable books include "Outrageous Advertising That’s Outrageously Successful," "The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing," and "Secrets of Peak Performers."
Bill also runs several business ventures and services with Dan Kennedy. Such examples are the high-end seminars Info Summit and SuperConference, which draw famous speakers such as Gene Simmons and Frank Kern.
As part of the Glazer-Kennedy Inside Circle, there are "Glazer-Kennedy Chapters" and study groups in over 100 locations that reach out to independent business owners and entrepreneurs. They are sort of mini-"SuperConferences" where great minds can meet locally and discuss how to be successful in business.
